About BenchReturn

Built for clear benchmark comparison

Why this tool exists, and who it's for.

What BenchReturn does

BenchReturn lets you compare the daily closing performance of major global stock market benchmarks — including S&P 500, NASDAQ, STOXX 600, Hang Seng and Nifty 50 — across any time range, side by side.

Why daily closes

Markets move constantly during trading hours, but day-to-day comparison is most meaningful when measured close-to-close. BenchReturn intentionally avoids intraday or minute-by-minute data, focusing instead on the number that matters most for long-term comparison: where each index ended the day.

Who it's for

BenchReturn is built for anyone curious about how markets around the world are performing relative to each other — students, long-term investors doing their own research, or anyone who wants a quick visual answer to "how is my market doing compared to others?"

Not investment advice

BenchReturn is an informational and comparison tool only. Nothing on this site should be taken as financial or investment advice. Always do your own research or consult a qualified advisor before making investment decisions.
